The Writing-On-Stone Rodeo has been making history for 50 plus years.  In 2014, 326 contestants from Alberta, Montana, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba competed at the rodeo.  This year, there are 494 entries.  The contestants and people in the community are why we put on such an outstanding rodeo.

The Writing-On-Stone Rodeo Association also participates in many summer events, besides the annual rodeo held the first weekend in August.  We enjoy weekly “Club Days” to instil the love of horsemanship into the youth of our community.  Club Days are held every Wednesday in July and August 2019.  If you are interested in participating, or even coming down to watch some of our local talent, please contact us for more information.

Our facilities are also home to the Competitive Trail Ride, the Sagebrush Trail Ride, and the Moose Mountain Adventures Trail Ride.

The Writing-On-Stone Rodeo Association is a non-profit organization, made up of a small but mighty group of volunteers that look forward to seeing YOU this summer!
